I am a non-custodial father and my son turned 18 in April of this year and my current child support has ended. I have an arrearage of about $20,000 and I am required to pay $200 per month for the arrearage. What are my options to settle this?

Child support arrears are NOT dischargeable in bankruptcy and is not something that can be negotiated away. $200 per month may not be easy to pay but the Court could order you to pay it back a lot faster. Also, keep in mind that you are not paying interest on this amount.
